A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am pursuing my PhD in theoretical computer science... So yeah scientist in the day and an amateur painter at night.

2. Why do you make art?

I stay alone. Life can get lonely at times. Art is my way of emoting on paper and creating something good out of it. I had always been attracted to any form of art and hence didn't hesitate to try my hand at it.

3. What inspires you?

Life. Life has its own way of teaching. All we need to do is observe. Same goes for art inspirations too. Different paintings depict different moods or the want of particular situations. Life it is.

4. What/who are your influences?

Never could put a finger on it. It may be some picture I took or a memory I had or just some random kaleidoscope of visions. But yeah my parents do play a major role in influencing my thought process.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

Has to be my grandparents. Never could really tell them how much I loved them and also how much their love meant to me. (I am very family oriented, if you couldn't tell already.)
